
Dr Asanda
Dr Asanda obtained her MBChB from Walter Sisulu University in 2007. Her special interests are primary healthcare and chronic illness management. She is a Grade 2 Medical Officer in private practice and also a sessional doctor at a public hospital.

Dr Chuene
Dr Chuene graduated with an MBChB from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014 and currently works in an accident and emergency department at ER Consulting Inc. She and her husband are raising two boys and are based in Pretoria.

Dr Debbie
Dr Debbie graduated in 2000. She spent four years in the UK working in Paediatrics before opening a health centre in Cape Town. She has diplomas in Child Health and Practitioner Coaching. Her special interests are paediatrics and family medicine.

Dr Gerhard
Dr Gerhard graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1988. He has practised around the world in general medicine, anaesthetics, emergency medicine, and family medicine. His special interests are men’s health, psychiatry and asthma.

Dr JC
JC has been working as a GP in Sedgefield since 1993. After graduating from Stellenbosch University in 1989, JC completed an M. Fam. Med, a masters in pain control, as well as ACLS, ATLS and APLS diplomas. He is currently enrolled in a three-year diploma through EULAR. JC is also an inventor, having created a urine sampling device for female patients that is currently distributed by Aspec Pharmacare. 75% of his week is spent at his medical practice and the other 25% is spent doing anaesthesia for plastic surgeons and eye specialists and dentists. In between, JC still does workers compensation work, works at a drug rehab centre, goes deep-sea fishing and enjoys his golf. He is married with four kids.

Dr Jeanne
Dr Jeanne graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2011. She has been treating patients in private practice since 2015. She has a special interest in women’s health. She lives in Cape Town with her husband and son.

Dr Melanie
Dr Melanie obtained her MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2014 and currently works as a GP in Cape Town. Her special interests are in diabetes (having earned a CDE network accreditation), paediatrics, dermatology, family medicine and functional medicine.

Dr Michael
Dr Michael was born in Cape Town and obtained a medical degree from WITS in 2011. He has practised in various medical settings including emergency units, cruise ships, rehabilitation centres, GP practices and a government sector burns unit. His interests are Emergency Medicine and Dive Medicine. Michael spends his free time paddling in the ocean.

Dr Nomacete
Dr Nomacete graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2011. She works in private practice and does escalations for ER24, ER locums, and conducts air ambulance transfers and commercial escorts. She is passionate about women's health and paediatrics.

Dr Nonhlanhla
Dr Nonhlanhla obtained her MBChB in 2012 from the University of Pretoria through a Cuba-UP training programme. She works as a medical officer in emergency medicine. She is based in Gauteng with her husband and daughter.

Dr Precious
Dr Precious graduated from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2013. She works as a GP in Hillcrest, Durban. Her special interests are in primary healthcare, women’s health and advocating against child sexual abuse.

Dr Samukelisiwe
Dr Samukelisiwe graduated from UCT in 2015. In 2018, she started an MSc in Child Health and Community Paediatrics. Her special interest is sexual and reproductive healthcare for adolescent girls and women. She is a GP in Cape Town.

Dr Schalk
Dr Schalk graduated in 1995 and has worked in private practice since 2000. His special interests are in rural medicine and providing medical care for people without access to adequate healthcare in Africa. He is married with two children.

Dr Sonelle
Dr Sonelle completed her MBChB at the University of Stellenbosch in 2010. She went on to work in academic hospitals, focusing mostly on internal and emergency medicine, with a special interest in rheumatology. Following this, Sonelle moved into clinic-based primary care and GP work. In her free time, she loves to exercise and do outdoor activities with her kids.

Dr Tsholofelo
Dr Tsholofelo graduated from the then Medical University of Southern Africa in 1999. Her special interests are in mental health, and in the role of nutrition in health and wellbeing. She is a GP primarily based in Rustenburg, but also works in Gauteng.
